005 | [Action/Video]

[Although Homura had been feeling normal and very much himself when he left community housing building three at night, somewhere along the way came a decisive change. So instead of the masculine demi-god that normally wandered, there stood an innocent-appearing girl with a wide-eyed expression that, frankly, Homura would never have. But Rinrei had always differed from him, even on such a basic level.

Not that Homura's aware of just who he's turned into at first. It starts off simply enough--opening the journal to issue a comment of warning.]

It seems we're about to undergo another experiment.

[Yet five hundred years hadn't dulled his memory of her voice, or her face, when he finally finds a window to peer into. Suddenly, what might have been an amusing play with his gender is much less entertaining.]

...An unpleasant one.

What sorta experiment are we talkin' about?

[Because hey, if it's that bad he might be in a bad spot. Intel never hurt]

A body transformation. Thus far, it seems victims are turned into another person. In my case, it is someone from my past.

[To put it lightly.]

Yer past huh? That's a strange one.

[identity profile] ipromisetodie.livejournal.com 2011-01-25 06:50 am (UTC)(link)
Less so than you might think. They've already turned me into a child since I've been here.

Seems like they enjoy diggin' up your past there.

[voice]

[identity profile] ipromisetodie.livejournal.com 2011-01-25 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed. You might well find yourself subject to the same.

[identity profile] compos-mentis.livejournal.com 2011-01-26 01:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I might. [...which is an unsettling thought. But that voice isn't going to be betraying that too much]

You holding up alright?

[voice]

[identity profile] ipromisetodie.livejournal.com 2011-01-27 12:01 am (UTC)(link)
[No, not too much, but it is the natural assumption. At least for Homura, who is also hiding just how deeply this choice affects him.]

As well as can be expected under the circumstances.

Aye. That's 'bout all one can expect to be at. Hope you've no objections to showing that pretty voice you've got a drink if this keeps up too long.

[Normally, Homura flirts well with others, man or woman, shood the mood strike. Something about this particular situation, however, gives him pause--most likely the idea that this man is flirting with the woman Homura holds most dear in the universe. Thankfully, Homura's self-awareness is still in tact, and he laughs softly after a moment.]

Careful. You could find yourself in a situation where you're uncomfortable.

[The warning is given more as a tease than actual caution. If this man isn't wise enough to prepare himself for the obvious possibilities, Homura will gladly do his part to make the situation worse.]

[Aw son, you have no idea. But he chuckles there]

Fair enough. I meant more for your own sake, I've not been hit yet.

[No, but he'd be extremely interested to learn. Yet there's no reason to suspect anything of that nature just yet, so instead Homura will simply grin.]

Yet. And I've never been one to drink much, I'm afraid, though I have been told I'm missing out.

Beautiful pasttime and a nasty habit both, depending on the context. But then, bad assumption on my part. What do you do to take the edge off?

For now I observe. I'm trying to understand more about the Malnosso and how they operate, along with the varied assortment of people here. It's far too early for anything beyond that in the broader scope.

Although there are distractions that can be amusing. They have gathered an interesting group of captives within their world, mortal or otherwise.

Mortal, huh? Forgive me for sayin' so, but that is an interesting distinction there.

Is it?

[Of course Homura is aware that there are mortals in Luceti, along with other immortals. He won't discount either possibility.]

I'm a god, so it's one I make often.

1/2

[identity profile] compos-mentis.livejournal.com 2011-02-04 05:59 am (UTC)(link)
A god.

[...That was flat. Surprised. It's not a break in the facade per say because Nina saw that coming but]

[voice]

[identity profile] compos-mentis.livejournal.com 2011-02-04 06:00 am (UTC)(link)
Can't say that's something I hear every day.

[voice]

[identity profile] ipromisetodie.livejournal.com 2011-02-05 02:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes.

[The shock isn't mirrored in the reply. Homura's used to the reaction mortals have when he reveals just what he is.]

Supposedly, there's several who have been brought here.

[identity profile] compos-mentis.livejournal.com 2011-02-06 08:41 am (UTC)(link)
S'that so? Never met a god before.

Congratulations then. Though most aren't impressive once you see their true character.

Oh I'm not saying it's impressive. Learned my lesson with the tallusins- making an assumption 'bout the character of a whole people before you meet'em generally isn't smart.
