But Rinrei had always differed from him, even on such a basic level.

Not that Homura's aware of just who he's turned into at first. It starts off simply enough--opening the journal to issue a comment of warning.]

It seems we're about to undergo another experiment.

I suppose so, but this is still rather... unpleasant. [His feelings on that particular subject are pretty similar - he wouldn't want Mia to have to deal with this place on her own, either. ...Even if one of her companions is here right now.

Unfortunately, there's no telling. One could make an argument that our suffering is enough for them. [And Homura isn't convinced that it isn't. Also, Homura will take the opportunity to experiment with the filters, since he really hasn't had much practice with them.]
