[Homura is examining the journal when he presses the button to begin recording. He doesn't notice the change at first, as he's more interested in the device itself, so there are a few moments of quiet contemplation before he speaks softly, mostly to himself.]
Well. This isn't quite what I was expecting to happen when I died.

Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 07:28 am (UTC)But being alive does have its good points.
Re: written
Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 07:30 am (UTC)So, welcome to Luceti! Unfortunately, you're stuck here, but there's a lot of us, so you're not alone.
Re: written
Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 07:34 am (UTC)Is that so? Crowds don't prevent someone from being alone, my friend.
But thank you all the same. I am Homura. You are?
Re: written
Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 07:42 am (UTC)And my name is Okita. It's nice to meet you, Homura-san. If you have any questions, I usually work at the Welcome Center here, so I can try to answer.
Re: written / You can't see it, but Homura's laughing.
Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 07:49 am (UTC)Yes, but that's the catch, I'm afraid. How often is something "given" without a deeper purpose? And life is a very big thing to give.
You as well. But I should ask--usually? Why aren't you working there now?
written | good, stop being a gloomy butt 8(
Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 07:52 am (UTC)I suppose. We're just drawn here for some reason or another and left to our own devices mostly. Unless it's an experiment time or the Malnosso decide to be brats and take us. They can be so troublesome.
Oh, and I'm not working now because I caught a cold. My friends won't let me leave my room until I'm better. Especially since I sneaked out earlier and made it a little worse.
Re: written | if it helps, he finds Okita amusing already.
Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 07:59 am (UTC)...You have a rather casual way of putting things, you know. Why don't you tell me just what you mean by the Malnosso and experiments?
That sounds wise of them. So are you staying in out of consideration for your health, consideration for them, or because they've arranged a better system for keeping you in?
Re: written | ffff oh you
Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 08:05 am (UTC)And I know. Since you're so gloomy, I didn't want you to get upset anymore. But, the Malnosso are an organization that keeps up locked up in here. Whether they're good or bad is a bit fuzzy, but they can do both good and really, really bad things to us. Oh, there's a guide that explains everything, I think. Would you like to see it?
[pen taps] Maybe a bit of all three.
Re: written
Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 08:10 am (UTC)How considerate. But trust me when I say that I'm not someone that needs protecting.
So why do they do these things? For what purpose? And what constitutes a good or a bad thing, in your mind?
I would very much like to see this guide, if you wouldn't mind.
And if you could escape without your friends knowing, would you?
Re: written
Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 08:14 am (UTC)And~ I don't really know. They're very strange. Also, a good thing is fun and a bad thing hurts people. They tend to do both. Here (http://wise-maiden.livejournal.com/24338.html) is the guide.
I don't know. I suppose I might if there were something to do and I could manage it. But Yamazaki-san would probably chain me to the bed after that.
Re: written
Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 08:22 am (UTC)Your criteria is certainly quite interesting, Okita. [Homura will be writing slower now, as he's also studying the guide.]
What would you do, if given the chance?
Re: written
Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 08:27 am (UTC)And thank you. I hope the guide is helpful.
[There's a pause and some pen tapping.]
I'd spend more time with them. Which defeats the purpose of sneaking out, I guess.
Re: written
Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 08:31 am (UTC)It seems as if it will be. Someone went to a great deal of effort to put this together.
Indeed it does. Unless you'd rather be outside than wherever it is you are. In one of the buildings in the village, I'd guess.
Re: written
Date: Saturday, 13 November 2010 08:34 am (UTC)Yes, Raine-san does a wonderful job at keeping us all informed.
I'd rather not be stuck in bed. Even Saizou is getting antsy. Poor thing.
Re: written
Date: Sunday, 14 November 2010 04:47 am (UTC)I'll have to thank this person, should I meet them.
Saizou? And in that case, it would seem to be in your best interest to stay put and recover. Isn't that how disease typically works?
Re: written
Date: Sunday, 14 November 2010 11:49 am (UTC)Yes, my piglet. Would you like to see him?
And it's not a disease. It's just a cold.
Re: written
Date: Monday, 15 November 2010 12:30 am (UTC)Why not?
Isn't a cold a disease? You'll have to forgive my ignorance; such things don't exist in the Heavens.
Re: written
Date: Monday, 15 November 2010 12:40 am (UTC)And here he is~
[Okita moves the journal so it focuses on Saizou as he's eating a biscuit.]
Re: written
Date: Monday, 15 November 2010 01:59 am (UTC)[On more than one count. Saizou is an aggressive eater.]
He does seem restless.
Re: written
Date: Monday, 15 November 2010 02:10 am (UTC)[Saizou stops eating and looks at the journal shoved in his face.]
Re: written
Date: Tuesday, 16 November 2010 05:14 am (UTC)voice --->
Date: Tuesday, 16 November 2010 05:19 am (UTC)Saizou! You can't actually get people through the books. Stop that.
[In the background, Saizou can be heard running around and oinking with all the fury of a tiny pink pig. He turns the voice off and goes back to writing]
Oh, they do. It's just not very fair to me.
Re: voice --->
Date: Tuesday, 16 November 2010 05:37 am (UTC)Would you tell me where your room is?
