He was involved in the battles yesterday with the woman who attacked the village. He was injured, but not killed. He simply wishes to remain in the clinic for the time being, because of his wounds. I'm passing along this message so you won't worry--or so Okita hopes.

[Homura shuts off the voice function, then turns to the subject of his entry. He's sitting on an empty bed next to the other man's in the battledome hospital, having taken Okita there after his own encounter with the Godslayer.]

Buuuu, unfair. And here I was going to let you look at them as much as you wanted.

Unfortunately, until I'm released, I'll have to put it on hold. Unless you'd like to train with one of my friends. They're also quite good, you know. Harada-san is a spear wielder, Nagakura-san, Toudou-kun and Yamanami-san are all swordsmen like me, but from a different school.

I'll think about it. But I do know this girl who is pretty awesome with a sword or pair of fans to spar with, so I think I'll live.

How do people sleep on these things?

I think you just get used to it. What do you normally sleep on?

Futon. We put them away in the mornings to open the rooms up.

And that way Saizou doesn't have to climb onto anything to sleep inside when it's cold out or he wants a nap.

What do you sleep on?

The houses came with beds... so we just used those.

[He grew up with less comfortable accommodations, so the upgrade to beds is one he's happy with, even if it took some getting used to. The learning to not sleep on his back due to the wings also contributed to some sleepless nights.]
