To those in residence with Okita Souji:

He was involved in the battles yesterday with the woman who attacked the village. He was injured, but not killed. He simply wishes to remain in the clinic for the time being, because of his wounds. I'm passing along this message so you won't worry--or so Okita hopes.

[Homura shuts off the voice function, then turns to the subject of his entry. He's sitting on an empty bed next to the other man's in the battledome hospital, having taken Okita there after his own encounter with the Godslayer.]

[He gets a little concerned when the audio suddenly cuts off, but maybe it was...well, he doesn't know what it was, but that's alright since Okita can be heard again.]

...that's true. [Sannan sighs.] I think I'm really just more concerned that we're going to disturb everyone else in the clinic.

Then maybe it will force them to keep their voices down. That wouldn't be so bad.

You should remind them then when we all come. Or maybe I will.

It'd be better if we both do it.

... [He seems about to say something else and then stops, starts, and stops again.]

[His immediate impulse is to deny it, but then he realizes what Okita is saying.]

[Okita lowers the journal and lets his hand cover the camera so Yamanami can't see his face when he admits it.]

He left the morning of the attack, I think. Or the night before it.

[Sannan trails off as he finds that he doesn't feel like debating logistics.

He clears his throat awkwardly.]

I'm sorry, Okita-kun.

....Don't be. He's back where he needs to be.

[Again. Okita is trying to sound at peace, but he likely just sounds distant.]

Try to come over more than just for dinner, hm? I'll be out of the house for awhile and I'm sure the others will want some company.

...Alright. I did say I would take care of Saizou in your absence, anyway.
