[Homura is examining the journal when he presses the button to begin recording. He doesn't notice the change at first, as he's more interested in the device itself, so there are a few moments of quiet contemplation before he speaks softly, mostly to himself.]

Well. This isn't quite what I was expecting to happen when I died.

[Okita moves the journal so it focuses on Saizou as he's eating a biscuit.]

I see.

[On more than one count. Saizou is an aggressive eater.]

He does seem restless.

He needs his walks and going out and having fun and not being stuck inside in bed being bored all day.

[Saizou stops eating and looks at the journal shoved in his face.]

I get the feeling you're no longer talking about your pet. If things truly are that bad, certainly your friends would offer to take him outside, wouldn't they?

[The pig looks at the camera, grunts and then headbutts it, turning on the voice feature.]

Saizou! You can't actually get people through the books. Stop that.

[In the background, Saizou can be heard running around and oinking with all the fury of a tiny pink pig. He turns the voice off and goes back to writing]

Oh, they do. It's just not very fair to me.

[Homura laughs quietly at the minor commotion before Okita turns off the feature.] He has a good spirit.

Would you tell me where your room is?

He does. He's young and very spirited.

And my room? Why?

Well, he should get a real chance to come at me, shouldn't he?

Though to be perfectly honest, I'd rather speak in person. This form of communication is effective, but unsatisfying.

And certainly your friends wouldn't be opposed to your having company?

He bites. Be careful.

[And, he doesn't know if he should.] Mm...you'd need to ask Yamazaki-san or Ayumu-san. They're the ones keeping me locked up right now.
